1 Box of Duncan Hines Red Velvet Cake Mix
3 whole eggs
1 1/4 cup water
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup maraschino cherries, chopped
24 red cupcake liner
-Blend the eggs until they foam.
-Then add in the oil and water. Mix for 30 seconds, then add in the cake mix powder and cherries.
-Bake at 350 degrees for 19 mins. or until a toothpick pulls out clean.
24 maraschino cherries with stems
-Let soak over night in enough cognac to cover in a small bowl.
1 stick of unflavored crisco
1 stick of unsalted butter
2 lbs of powdered sugar
3 Tablespoons of Hennessey Cognac
-Blend all of the ingredients together on low until combined. Then on high until smooth and creamy.
-Pipe in a rosette shape on the cooled cupcakes and place a single cherry in the center.
